Mechanism & Target Class

An agonist analogue of the type-1 IGF receptor (IGF-1R). The Arg3 substitution and N-terminal extension lower affinity for IGF-binding proteins while preserving IGF-1R agonist activity; downstream signaling is via the PI3K/Akt and MAPK/ERK pathways.
