Luvaminos H2O is bacteriostatic water — the standard solvent used to reconstitute (mix) freeze-dried research compounds for laboratory handling. The 0.9% benzyl alcohol it contains limits bacterial growth in the vial under aseptic technique.

Laboratory diluent (sterile aqueous solvent)
Sterile, non-pyrogenic water containing 0.9% (9 mg/mL) benzyl alcohol as a bacteriostatic preservative, which inhibits bacterial growth and allows repeated withdrawals from a multi-use container under aseptic technique. Typical pH 4.5-7.0.

Used as a diluent and solvent for reconstitution and handling of lyophilized research compounds.

Controlled room temperature (15-25°C)
protect from freezing and extreme heat; limited in-use period with aseptic handling.
Discard if particulates, discoloration or contamination are observed; protect sterility.
