1. Information We Collect
Luvaminos LLC (“Luvaminos,” “we,” “us”) collects information you provide when you create an account, place an order, or contact us, including:
- contact details such as name, email, phone, and address;
- payment metadata processed by our payment providers — billing details and processor tokens for card, Apple Pay, and Google Pay orders, and bank-transfer details for Zelle orders. We do not receive or store full payment-card numbers;
- order history and transaction details;
- communications you send to us; and
- account credentials and preferences.
2. Automatically Collected Information
When you visit our website, we may automatically collect:
- IP address and approximate location;
- device, browser, and operating system information;
- usage data such as pages viewed and links clicked;
- cookies and similar tracking technologies; and
- a record of your acknowledgments — when you confirm you are 21 or older and that our products are for laboratory research use only, we retain that acknowledgment together with the date and time, your IP address, your browser user-agent, and the version of the policy you accepted.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- process and fulfill orders and provide customer support;
- operate, maintain, and improve our website and services;
- communicate with you about orders, updates, and marketing;
- use artificial-intelligence and machine-learning tools to operate, personalize, moderate, secure, analyze, and improve our services, and to train and improve our models;
- prevent fraud and enforce our terms;
- evidence your age and research-use acknowledgments for regulatory, payment-processor, and compliance purposes; and
- comply with legal obligations.
4. Information Sharing
We may disclose, share, sell, and transfer the personal information we collect for the purposes described in this policy, including with:
- payment processors and shipping carriers;
- advertising, analytics, marketing, and technology partners, including for cross-context behavioral advertising and measurement;
- our affiliates and companies under common control with us, including our parent company;
- email, support, fraud-prevention, and other service providers;
- legal and regulatory authorities where required by law; and
- successors and their advisors in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of all or part of our assets — in which case your personal information, including our customer list, may be among the assets transferred.
We do not exchange your personal information for money. However, our use of advertising and analytics partners, our sharing with affiliates and marketing partners, and any transfer of our customer list in a business transaction may be treated as a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information under the CCPA/CPRA and similar laws. You have the right to opt out — see the California Privacy Rights section below.
5. Mobile Numbers and Text Messaging
We send one kind of text message and no other: a six-digit sign-in code, sent only at the moment you ask for one. You choose whether to use it — signing in by email works exactly the same way, and nothing here requires a phone number. We never send marketing, promotional, or order-update texts. Message frequency depends on how often you sign in. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.
If you add a number for sign-in, we keep a record of that consent — the number, the date, and the exact wording you agreed to — because carriers require us to be able to produce it.
If you give us a phone number at checkout or in your account, we use it only to:
- give the shipping carrier a way to reach you about a delivery; and
- let our support team call you back about an order.
The number you give at checkout for delivery is never used for sign-in. Phone sign-in uses a separate number you add yourself.
Phone numbers are never sold, and are never shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing. See the SMS and Messaging Terms in our Terms of Service.
Order confirmations, shipping notifications and support replies are sent by email — never by text. The only text we will ever send is a sign-in code you just requested. If you receive any other text claiming to be from us, it did not come from us — please report it to support@luvaminos.com.
6. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Cookies and Tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the site, remember your preferences, secure the service, measure advertising, and understand usage. In addition to advertising pixels, we use product-analytics tooling (currently PostHog, which captures usage events, may build anonymous visitor profiles, and records session replays with sensitive inputs such as passwords and email masked, delivered through a first-party endpoint) and error-monitoring tooling (currently Sentry, which sets a persistent anonymous identifier; session replay is not enabled in it). There is no cookie banner and nothing to accept: advertising, product-analytics and session-replay measurement operate by default from the moment you arrive, to help us understand and improve the site. California residents can opt out of the sale and sharing of their personal information at any time — see the California Privacy Rights section below for how. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect site functionality. Our advertising cookies and pixels may constitute “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising under the CPRA; see the California Privacy Rights section for how to opt out.
8. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information, and to opt out of marketing communications. If you have an account, you can start a data-export or account-deletion request from your privacy settings (also linked as “Data Request” in the footer), or contact us at support@luvaminos.com. We verify requests and respond within the timeframes required by applicable law; requests are reviewed before they are fulfilled.
9. California Privacy Rights (CCPA & CPRA)
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion, to correct inaccurate information, and to opt out of both the sale and the sharing of personal information.
We do not exchange your personal information for money. However, our use of advertising and analytics partners for cross-context behavioral advertising (including platforms such as Meta, TikTok, Google, Snapchat, Reddit, Bing, and others we may add), our sharing with affiliates and marketing partners, and any transfer of our customer list in a business transaction may be treated as a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information under the CPRA. You have the right to opt out.
If you are a California resident, email support@luvaminos.com to opt out of the sale and sharing of your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. You do not need an account, we will not ask you to sign in, and there is no form to fill in. Write to us from the email address you use with us, or tell us what it is, and we apply the opt-out to it. Where your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal we treat it as a valid opt-out of sharing, whichever state you are in.
10. Children's Privacy
Our website and products are not intended for individuals under 21 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 21. If you believe we have collected such information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Third-Party Links
Our website may link to third-party sites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and encourage you to review their policies.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes are effective when posted to this page. This policy is governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico.
