Quick answers

What is Cagrilintide?

Cagrilintide is a lipidated 37-residue amylin analogue studied in amylin- and calcitonin-receptor pharmacology and cryo-EM structural research. It is a synthetic peptide (acylated, disulfide-cyclized, 37 residues) with a molecular weight of ~4,409 g/mol and the formula C194H312N54O59S2.

How much published research cites Cagrilintide?

The Luvaminos Cagrilintide record cites 3 published references, dated 2021 to 2025. Each is listed on this page with a link to its source.

Does Luvaminos test Cagrilintide, and where is the certificate?

Every peptide lot Luvaminos sells is tested by Freedom Diagnostics Testing, PLLC, an independent laboratory, and its certificate is published at luvaminos.com/coa under the lot number printed on the vial. No Cagrilintide lot has a published certificate right now.

What modifications does Cagrilintide carry?

Cagrilintide: Cys2-Cys7 disulfide bridge; C-terminal amide; N-terminal Lys acylated with a C20 diacid through a gamma-glutamyl linker; proline at positions 25, 28, 29 and 37.

How is Cagrilintide powder stored?

Sealed Cagrilintide powder: -20°C (-80°C long term); powder typically stable ~24 months. Protect from light and moisture; keep sealed and dry.

Mechanism & Target Class

A synthetic analogue of human amylin (UniProt P10997), from which it differs at six positions. Proline substitutions at positions 25, 28, 29 and 37 were introduced to reduce the fibril-forming tendency of the native amylin sequence, and the N-terminal C20 fatty-diacid side chain confers reversible albumin binding. In vitro it has been profiled as a non-selective agonist at the amylin receptors (AMY1, AMY2 and AMY3) and the calcitonin receptor, all class B G protein-coupled receptors, across binding, cAMP signalling and receptor-regulation assays.
