How do you compare research peptide prices per milligram?
Divide the price of the vial by the milligrams it is labelled to hold. A $30 vial of 10 mg costs $3.00 per mg, and a $48 vial of 20 mg costs $2.40 per mg. Compare the same compound at the same purity standard, then add shipping, because a lower price per mg can cost more at the door.

How do you calculate price per milligram?
Price per milligram is the vial price divided by the labelled amount of peptide in the vial. The two examples below are illustrative figures, not our prices.
- A vial priced at $30.00 and labelled 10 mg: $30.00 ÷ 10 = $3.00 per mg.
- A vial priced at $48.00 and labelled 20 mg: $48.00 ÷ 20 = $2.40 per mg.
- A multi-vial price works the same way: divide the total by the total milligrams, not by the number of vials.
What has to match before two prices can be compared?
A price per milligram is only a fair comparison when the things being priced are the same thing. Check each of these before reading the numbers side by side.
- The same compound, named the same way. A related compound with a similar name is a different product.
- The same labelled amount basis, in milligrams of peptide per vial rather than in units or a count of vials.
- The same purity standard, measured by the same method. A purity result is only comparable to another one measured the same way.
- A certificate for the lot you are buying, from a named laboratory, so the figures can be checked.
Why does net peptide content change the real price per milligram?
A price per milligram uses the labelled amount. If a vial holds less peptide than its label states, the real price per milligram of peptide is higher than the arithmetic shows.
Net peptide content is the measurement that answers this. It is reported in milligrams on the certificate and read against the label, so a certificate that reports it lets you check the figure you divided by.
What else changes the price you pay?
Multi-vial pricing lowers the price per vial when you buy more than one, and shipping is added on top. Our US ground shipping is $10, and free on orders of $150 or more.
Our prices page lists every product and size with the price for 1, 3 and 5 vials and the price per milligram at each, so the arithmetic above is already done for the catalogue.
Questions
How do you calculate price per mg for a peptide?
Divide the vial price by the milligrams of peptide it is labelled to hold. A $30 vial labelled 10 mg is $3.00 per mg.
Is a lower price per mg always a better deal?
No. It is only comparable when the compound, purity standard and test method match, and shipping can change the total. Check the certificate for the lot as well.
Does net peptide content affect price per mg?
Yes. If a vial holds less peptide than its label states, the real price per milligram is higher. The certificate reports net peptide content in milligrams so you can check.
Where can I see Luvaminos prices per mg?
On the prices page, which lists every product and size with the price for 1, 3 and 5 vials and the price per milligram at each.
