Mechanism & Target Class
A blend of two lipidated, modified synthetic peptides. In each component, fatty-acid conjugation — a C20 diacid via a Glu–Lys spacer for AMY (CG) and a C19 diacid via a γ-Glu linker for LUV RT — confers reversible albumin binding and extended plasma half-life. Non-coded residue substitutions in both peptides confer resistance to circulating proteases, and each engages class B G protein–coupled receptors as characterized in cryo-EM structural studies.
Storage & Handling
- Lyophilized
- -20°C or below; lyophilized powder typically stable up to 24 months in sealed, desiccated vials.
- Handling
- AMY (CG): high fibrillation propensity at neutral pH; avoid freeze-thaw cycles. LUV RT: aliquot to minimize freeze-thaw; protect from light and moisture.
