Molecular formula
C38H49N9O5

Sequence
Aib-His-D-2-Nal-D-Phe-Lys-NH2
Combines two peptides characterized in structural studies of distinct GPCR classes. The LUV TRZ component is a long-acting, acylated peptide whose C20 fatty-diacid side chain confers reversible albumin binding, extending circulatory half-life; in cryo-EM studies it adopts an α-helical conformation in complex with class B G-protein-coupled receptors. Ipamorelin is a synthetic pentapeptide (Aib-His-D-2-Nal-D-Phe-Lys-NH2) characterized in structural studies of a class A G-protein-coupled receptor, where its N-terminal Aib and D-2Nal residues occupy hydrophobic receptor pockets and the Lys-NH2 terminus makes polar contacts. Because the two components are characterized at different GPCR classes, no single structural target describes the blend.
Lyophilized
≤ −20 °C with desiccant
protect from light and moisture.
The acylated GIP-analog component may aggregate if mishandled; Aliquot both components; protect from light.
